I wanted whiter teeth but was afraid of the sensitivity issue with some whitening products. This product does not do that. I'm not one to write a lot of reviews, but this product I was impressive. I'm 81 yrs old female, and though I am old I really don't look it. Thanks to having oily skin most of my life I have very few wrinkles on my face so I pass as being younger. That being said my teeth is another problem. As you age your teeth loose their white brightness and turn yellow. Even though I never smoked or drank, coffee and tea stains and age definitely change your teeth. During a recent research I came upon this product that was highly rated and the price being something I could afford I tried it. I have now used the entire jar and have to say my teeth are 80 percent whiter and brighter. Will probably never get bright white but the improvement is amazing. I am ordering two more jars today.
I think this is an effective product. My teeth were yellowed around the gum line and a week of use made a big difference. But the delivery system really sucks. The jar opening is too small to dip your toothbrush into, resulting in the powder getting all over the bathroom counter so i started pouring a little on the cover and use that instead which works much better :)
I am impressed with this product. It does an amazing job of removing surface stains. The product has a unique lemon-mint taste that is very refreshing. The instructions on the box say to use it 3-4 times per week, which translates to every other day. Wet your toothbrush, add toothpaste, then dip the toothpaste into the powder and brush as usual. I drink unfiltered coffee, which stains horribly. This product removed those stains after about 3 uses. It is not a bleach, so it will not dramatically change the color of your teeth like veneers, but I do think my teeth look much cleaner and brighter since I've been using it.
I have highly sensitive teeth and haven't been to the dentist in 8 years, so I haven't had them cleaned either. Please don't misunderstand; they aren't rotten or anything, and I take great care to brush twice a day and use a dental pick. My teeth have, of course, yellowed a lot. My wife always tries to get me to use her whitening strips. I did try them once a few years ago, and I thought I was going to scream for a year; it hurt so bad.
